Dear Friends,
Yesterday, March 21, 2010, was a day, for most of us, filled with sadness and concern over our government leaders' failure to stand up for the unborn and their moms.  However, God always has the wonderful ability to prove Himself to those of us who've given our lives to saving the unborn from abortion.  And He did just that yesterday!
 
I received an email this morning from John Stewart, one of the Memphis Sidewalk Counselors.  He was so appreciative that we were able to see a young woman he'd encountered outside the abortion clinic.  The lengthy wait last week for an abortion had caused her to reschedule her appointment for yesterday afternoon.  The pressing circumstances in this young woman's life pushing her toward abortion took a backseat when she realized, through our provision of ultrasound, that she's carrying twins!  All her problems didn't go away but she now knows she's empowered with the truth, as well as support, for her life-affirming decision.
 
Our precious Clinic Director, Gina, stayed more than 1 hour after closing just to see this young woman.  For many of us, staying at work a little late would be no big deal...but Gina and her awesome hubby, Greg, had to work out special emergency babysitting for their 2 young children with a neighbor.
 
Amanda, Client Services Director, was here as well...getting some maternity clothes to take to one of our teenage clients whose family had suffered a fire in their home yesterday and she needed school uniform attire so she could attend class today.
 
This is just one more example of the dedication of our wonderful staff and their willingness to 'esteem others better than themselves'.  We are truly blessed!!  Just thought you'd want to know.  Thank you for serving with us.
