                                           LIFE CHOICES STAFF

Sue Parker - CEO

"The best part of my job at Life Choices is what I'm doing right now - communicating with you!  Bringing the message of LIFE to our community is what energizes me for the battles we face as we encounter those who are opposed to the sanctity of all human life.  It is so exciting to see God's vision for Life Choices become a reality each and every day in the hearts and lives of those He loves so much - precious unborn babies and their moms.  Our awesome staff and volunteers make the administrative part of my work a breeze, and I love each one of them for their service to the Lord."

Susanna Guess, RN - Ultrasound Nurse

"I began my 'career' at Life Choices 11 years ago working with birthmoms and dads as a volunteer counselor.  Although I'm working professionally as an obstetrical nurse for Dr. Thomas L. Gray, who is now Life Choices' Medical Director, I never dreamed that God would bring me on staff at Life Choices.  As an RN at Life Choices, I perform urine pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, as well as offer medical advice to our patients.  Being able to introduce a birthmom, who may be considering abortion, to her baby through ultrasound is an awesome privilege!"

Gina Hollenbeck, BSN, RN - Director of Clinical Services

"I provide pregnancy tests, medical advice, and perform ultrasounds on our clients.  I also train volunteer nurses in how to use their skills in a pregnancy help medical center setting.  I enjoy teaching childbirth classes, and I am an American Heart Association CPR Instructor.  I am married to Greg, and we are the proud adoptive parents of our 4 year old son, Hudson, and 2 month old son, Hayden.

Elyssa Kerrigan - Volunteer Coordinator

"If someone has a heart to minister to girls who have unplanned pregnancies, I find a way to get them at Life Choices.  Serving on a committee, organizing the Baby Boutique, stuffing envelopes, and working one on one with clients are just a few of those ways volunteers serve. For folks who want to volunteer one on one with clients, training is required prior to volunteering.  It is offered three times a year.  I send the necessary paperwork required to attend.  We certainly could not do all that we do without our precious volunteers who are both a blessing to the ministry and are blessed through the mministry.  What a privilege it is to help you get involved!"

Emily Matthews, MSN, RNC- Ultrasound Nurse

"I began volunteering at Life Choices in January 2007, shortly after I got married to my husband Jeremy.  I am a labor and delivery nurse and love working with pregnant women, and I knew there was a way I could make a bigger impact.  I became trained in ultrasound in the Spring of 2008 and now spend two days a week at Life Choices and remain part time in the hospital in a busy labor and delivery unit.  I feel blessed to be able to show a new mother life through ultrasound and to be able to be there when new babies are brought into the world."

Cari McCaig - Staff Client Advocate

"I began as a volunteer for Life Choices a year before I joined the staff in September of 2008.  I work part time as a client advocate.  As client advocate, I provide counseling services to clients experiencing a crisis pregnancy.  I also counsel birthparents as they go through the process of making an adoption plan for their child.  It is a blessing to be a part of Life Choices and to have the opportunity to be able to work closely with    the clients we serve."

Beth McDaniel - Director of Events and Public Relations

"My passion is Jesus Christ and the LIFE He gives!  I am blessed to be able to work for a life-affirming ministry.  My work every day is different and challenging.  The Lord has taught me so much in the development and marketing areas.  I enjoy, with a passion, working alongside all the many (more than 150) volunteers I am blessed to coordinate for events and administrative duties.  In a sentence, I am privileged to be able to share God's message of life by planning and executing our four annual fundraisers, creating marketing pieces (websites, brochures, ads, and media) to ensure that our clients and ministry friends discover us, coordinating event and development volunteers, building relationships in the community, creating and publishing our quarterly Lifeline, and accepting any other development projects that come my way.  To God Be The Glory!!"

Judy McLaughlin - Director of Adoption Services

"When women come to Life Choices and make an adoption plan for their baby, my goal is to have couples available and waiting to accept that precious baby into their family.  As the Director of Adoption Services, I recruit and prepare families to adopt.  I also recruit and train our cradle care families, our interim foster care program.  I supervise the placement of babies in the cradle care home and adoptive home.  I follow the family through the entire adoption journey and am available to provide post adoption services even years later.  I have a Master's Degree in Counseling with over twenty years experience in the adoption field, working with older and special needs children, international and newborn adoption.  I am a native Memphian and am married with one adult daughter."

Amanda Perry - Director of Client Services

Almost 15 years ago God made it clear to me that it was His plan for me to serve Him through Life Choices.  It is now my privilege as Director of Client Services to supervise the operations related to Client Services.  I especially enjoy the supervision of and service as a counselor in areas of crisis pregnancy, adoption, post-abortion, sexual abuse, and sharing the Gospel.  Areas included in Client Services include clients considering adoption vs parenting, supervising and participating in volunteer training, and the development of our client referral program.  It is also rewarding to prepare the statistical reports for the Board of Directors since each of the numbers represent lives touched by God through Life Choices.

Nita Roeder, RN

"I began my association with Life Choices 18 years ago when I joined H.O.P.E. (Helping Others with Post-abortion Experiences).  After several weeks I began attending the Bible study and learned so much about the character of God as well as how He viewed me as one of His own precious children.  Years later I was trained by Life Choices to be a Bible study leader myself and was blessed to be able to lead several groups of ladies in Arkansas through the same study that had been so beneficial to me.  In August of 2007, I received training in limited obstetrical ultrasound through Life Choices and became a volunteer as a registered nurse.  I consider it such a privilege now to be part of the staff and to be allowed to give back to an organization that has changed my life in such a profound way."

Cathy Wyatt - Director of Operations/Finance

Greetings and blessings from the "Bean Counter".  I have the awesome privilege to serve Life Choices in the capacity of the financial and operations director.  The responsibilities are numerous;  including, but not limited to, maintaining effective financial internal controls, assuring the safeguarding of our assets, preparation and analysis of our financial statements, and the maintenance and integrity of our donor records.  It is my honor to be involved with our Post Abortion Support called Helping Others with Post Abortion Experiences (H.O.P.E.).  I lead, train other leaders, and supervise the post-abortion Bible Studies offered at Life Choices.
