The above quote is my favorite non-Scripture quote because it has proved to be true countless times in my life.  About ten years ago, I had a young lady, Jennifer Ferree, in the 9th grade Sunday School class I taught.  I got to know her parents, too, as they lived across the street from us.  A few years later, her dad, Tim, worked on a project for his graduate studies that centered around the ministry of Life Choices.  His project assessment was that Life Choices, while a wonderful ministry, should re-evaluate some of its effectiveness in reaching the abortion-minded women in our community.  Not so strangely enough, our hearts and minds were already moving toward medical conversion that would bring more abortion-minded women to our center.  It was through that experience that Tim came to serve on Life Choices’ Advisory Committee, where he distinguished himself through purposeful leadership.

Through his servant leadership style, Tim became a welcomed addition to our Board of Directors.  Life Choices’ vision for the future in our complex culture called for a Chairman with strong moral character, a fearless prayer life, and the abilities and dedication needed to achieve the goals of the organization.  Tim Ferree is all these things and so much more.  I believe, with all my heart, that he is God’s perfect preparation for our future that only God can see.

A WORD FROM TIM..

 

As the Life Choices team, God has provided us with a tremendous opportunity and responsibility, to serve Him by serving others in preserving LIFE.

This includes the life of the unborn and the lives of so many others impacted by the difficult choices that are a result of unplanned pregnancies.

 

I count it all joy to serve alongside so many dedicated and committed Christian men and women, who continually sacrifice for the cause of LIFE and changed lives as a result of their service for Christ through Life Choices.

 

As a team moving forward, we must all be committed to “engaged ministry relationships.”  Board members, staff, volunteers, ministry supporters, and clients are all essential partners in proclaiming the positive impact this ministry is having on the community.  Together, we must engage individuals, churches and businesses to share the life-affirming and life-changing results their participation will encourage.

 

I am encouraged daily by the good work that is being accomplished by Life Choices, and remind myself frequently of the promises of God in Psalm 37:3-5…

“Trust in the Lord and do good…Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.”

 

I challenge you to get involved in the good work that is being done in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through Life Choices.
