BREAKING NEWS FROM WASHINGTON

Heartbreaking News For Our Country!

$160 million taxpayer dollars have just been appropriated from the federal government to the state of Pennsylvania in order to set up a high-risk insurance government pool program, a new program created by the health care bill that would cover abortion on-demand. 

 

Marjorie Dannenfelser, President, Susan B. Anthony List states, "The Obama Administration has not tried to hide their radical abortion agenda and are now moving into action-starting with full coverage for all legal abortion in Pennsylvania."

 

This is what we know about Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - There is an abortion clinic called Grace Medical Care that performs abortions up to 36 weeks.  Isn't it interesting that Pennsylvania has received this large appropriation from the federal government? When baby Joshua was trying to make his debut at 25 weeks, his mother followed the doctors orders closely to give him as much time as he needed to develop and grow.  He was born at 27 weeks, weighing 1 pound, 8 ounces.  He continues to grow stronger every day, being cared for by many loving nurses and doctors in the hospital.  He has made some great strides and now weighs almost 2 pounds, but he continues to have typical complications due to his prematurity.  His prospective adoptive parents visit him daily, offering up prayers in his behalf.  Their church and loved ones continue to pray.  Baby Joshua needs your prayers.  Pray for his healing and that he will grow stronger every day.  Pray for the wisdom of the doctors and nurses that are caring for him.  Pray for the sweet couple and their family that hold him in their hearts.  Pray for his birth parents as they are concerned about his care and development.  We are blessed and grateful to know that you are praying for this little one.

 

UPDATE ON BABY JOSHUA - JUNE 7, 2010

Joshua now weighs 3 lbs., 6ozs and is growing stronger every day. Please continue to pray for his health and development.  We are hoping that he will be leaving the hospital soon to join his forever family!

Baby Joshua squeaks and stretches and even smiles out of the corner of his mouth!  He now weighs 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and the doctor says he is healthy.  Praise the Lord for this precious little one!

 

 

Prayer Requests:

Please pray that God will send more volunteers and partners to Life Choices so that we can have a greater impact for Life in our community.

 

Pray for pro-life friends to be as generous as they possibly can with financial gifts so that we may meet the budgeted needs of our program services.

 

Pray that Christians will be willing to let their voices be heard as one voice...a voice that speaks with respect and intelligence, yet with an unwavering commitment to LIFE!

We invite you to join us as we celebrate our mothers and their children. Please consider our Bottles for Life Campaign.  You are encouraged to distribute our baby bottles to your Sunday School classes, your family, and throughout your congregation.  In addition to these bottles being generously filled with extra change and dollars, a prayer card reminds you to pray for our clients and their babies, to which we have ministered.  All money raised from our Bottles goes to help operate our two medical/counseling centers.  Without your gracious giving and consistent prayer, we could not provide life affirming services to the women who walk through our doors every day.
